Paying property tax in Greece involves several key steps to ensure compliance with local regulations. First, you need to determine the amount of tax due by checking the official notification sent by the tax authorities or by accessing your account on the Taxisnet online platform. Next, you can pay the tax either online through the Taxisnet system using a credit or debit card, or by visiting a bank with the appropriate payment code provided in your tax notice. It’s important to pay the tax by the specified deadline to avoid penalties. For non-residents, seeking assistance from a local tax advisor or accountant might be helpful to navigate the process smoothly.
